Soft drink industry has participated in Voluntary Action Plan on the Environment under management of Japan Business Federation to act on their initiative for promoting a Recycling-Oriented Society engaging in reducing industrial waste, aiming to achieve the goals of ‘not greater than 3,000t final disposal volume - Reduction of 74% compared with fiscal 2000 result’ and ‘ Maintaining 99% recycling rate’.

In 2017, ‘disposal volume of industrial waste’ from soft drink industry was 4,590t with ’99.3% recycling rate’. We continue to promote the reduction of the waste material and the recycling for establishing a recycling-oriented society.
