Soft drink industry continues to make an endeavor to promote 3Rs and strengthen the association among businesses by following ‘3Rs Promotion Voluntary Action Plan’ formulated by 3Rs Promotional Coordinating Committee.
The industry has been promoting the reduce, reuse and recycle measures participating The Third Voluntary Action Plan, FY2016-2020 for fiscal 2016 to 2020 following their past participation in The first Voluntary Action Plan , FY2006-2010 and The second Voluntary Action Plan , FY2011-2015.
【Reduce】Weight reduction, thin-wall container development of a product has been continuingly improved.
We are undertaking weight reduction, thin-wall container development of products by setting a benchmark based on the material.
The primary purpose of a container is protection of the content to secure safety and deliver reassurance toward our products. We believe it is important to continuously seek the right balance between this primary purpose of the package and contribution to resource savings through “Reduce” efforts.

【Recycle】Endeavor to maintain and improve recycle and collection rate
We are undertaking the collection and recycling by setting a numeric target for each material.
We will continue to take specific actions by material to achieve our goal and, at the same time, work toward capturing any recycle flow that is not captured.
